Medical Notes Creator (MNC) MNC is a customized and self-customized product. MNC includes ready-to-use note-templates constructed in accordance with customers’ requirements. In addition, MNC includes tools that allow its users to further customize these forms of notes by themselves. The main feature and specificity of MNC compared to other similar applications is the Tree Data Structures (trees) for collecting and saving “tree elements” (words or phrases) that can be used for compiling notes for specific patients. What is MNC for? The Tree-Based Medical Notes Creator (MNC) allows the user to speed up notes’ preparation compared to other Notes Creators. Note Trees - a Specific Feature of the MNC Application Each Tree corresponds to a specific type of a note. The Note Tree contains the following elements: note’s headings, medical terms/codes and typical sentences to be used in compiling a specific note. You can edit trees, add new elements to them and delete obsolete elements from them. How to Populate a Tree? To add a new element to a tree, you can proceed as follows: Type a new element that you want to add to a tree in a special box Click on the place in the tree to where you want to move the element Clicking on a button updates the tree Click on the “Save Tree” button to save the smarter tree. When you start MNC, there appears the List of Patients. Select a patient’s name. An Initial Encounter note form and its tree appear on the screen if this is a new patient. If the patient is not new, his last SOAP Note appears with the tree. The notes already contain headings. Your task is to add to the note appropriate elements from the tree and type new texts into the note if necessary. For this, just proceed as follows: Click on a place inside the note to where you want to move the tree element, Highlight the chosen element of the tree that you want to add to the note With a click on a button, the text appears in the note. Click on “Save” button. You Can Use Speech Recognition MNC has its own easy to use Speech Recognition system. To add some text into a note using your voice, you should proceed as follows: Plug a microphone to your computer Click on the place inside the note to where you want to add the text Click on the “Dictate” button. The “Dictate” form opens up When you dictate into the microphone, the text appears in the “Dictate” form Correct the text, click on “Save” & “Close” buttons. The text appears in the note If you have used a well known Speech Recognition system (“Dragon Speaking Clearly”, “Speech Engines”, etc.) before installing MNC, you can use it with MNC.   Price is from $800.
Web Self-Appointment (WSA) The Calendar on your Web Self-Appointment page allows the client to choose a specific date for the appointment by clicking on this date. Then, your client will be able to see all available times for the new appointments, select convenient time and save it in your database by clicking "OK" button. The client immediately receives conformation message with the date and time of the appointment. The main advantages of this tool compared to the previous option are the following: The client chooses the most convenient time for the appointment by himself and receives confirmation of his appointment immediately; Appointments, selected by one client are not available for next clients; No exchanges of information between you or your staff and your client are necessary.          Price for this function is from $700. Web Self-Appointment (WSA) with Two Databases Some offices prefer to have two synchronized databases: one in the office and another on the web. Having two databases assures a higher reliability of the system and guarantees more data securities. However, providing fast synchronization of contents of the two databases makes the Self-Appointment system more complex and costly.  Price for this function is from $900.

The results will be immediately saved in your office database and appear on your MAM screen. This application is using only telephone connection. Therefore, it can be used for making self-appointments when Internet connection is not available on any reason and thus WSA cannot be used. Also, TSA is good for those clients who prefer to use telephone while making a self-appointment. With TSA on your telephone line, your client still has the possibility to leave you a message. TSA can work all the time in all days of the week or only when you and your staff are out of the office.     Price is $800 if you already have MAM with a Database. This price does not include the price for Hi-Phone (Way2Way external modem) needed for TSA normal functioning. Price for Hi-Phone is about $360.     Office Self-Appointment (OSA) This application allows your clients to make their appointments in your office by themselves on a Computer for Patients without addressing you or your staff.                   Price is from $500 if you already have LAN in your office.                   Price for LAN installation depends on the type of your Internet provider.   Appointment Reminder with Choices (ARC) Most of the patients prefer to hear from their doctors possible approaches to curing their medical problems and the right to choose those treatments that they feel are the best for them. The same is true not only with regard to patients’ treatment, but also to factors such as the doctor’s respect of patients’ time and their personal preferences in everything. Some patients are very organized and busy. They often have their daily schedules on their computers. Therefore, these patients do not need to be reminded by phone. However, they might be glad to receive reminders by email because they are choosing the time themselves as to when they want to view the incoming emails. Those patients who are not well organized are different. Some of them prefer to be reminded by phone two or three days before the appointment, others – just a day before the appointment. Each has his/her own preference as to the time of the day when to be reminded. The existing Appointment Reminders do not respect patients’ choices and preferences and therefore are actually rude tools disrespectful to patients. MFW Appointment Reminder (ARC) presents the following choices to each patient: To be reminded about the appointments or not, If yes, by phone, by email or both, A patient can decide on the day before the appointment he/she wants to receive a reminder  (in other words, how many days before the appointment the patient wants to receive a reminder), At what time of the day the patient prefers to receive the reminder (if he/she has chosen the phone.) If the patient wants the possibility of canceling the appointment when receiving the reminder, If he/she also wants to have a possibility to promptly choose another day and time for the appointment without addressing the office staff. Other options can also be implemented based on needs. There is no doubt that doctors who decide to install ARC will prove to their patients that they respect their right for a free choice.
